PAPER 1 - The Move to Global War

09.00 to 9.45 the session will start with a Socrative based on knowledge and during the last 15 minutes of the session an 8 mark style question will be set on the period of the Move to Global War, students will plan their response and post to the forum  below. Students may then wish to engage in a study hall style discussion in the session 1 forum.

Recommended preparation: 
General revision of Japan and Germany and Italy from the resources above and your own notes
Revise perspectives on Appeasement

Session 2 10.00 - 1045

Paper 2 - Causes practices and effects of war

10.00 to 10.45 the session will start with a Socrative based on knowledge and during the last 15 minutes of the session 2, 15 mark style questions will be set, students will plan their response to 1 question and post to the forum  below. Students may then wish to engage in a study hall style discussion in the session 2 forum.

Recommended preparation: 
General revision of Total, Limited, Civil and Guerrilla Wars from the resources above and your own notes
Revise Concepts of the above types of war

Session 3 11.00 - 11.45

Paper 3 - historical perspectives on german unification, the first world war and versailles to berlin

11.00 to 11.45 the session will start with a Socrative based on knowledge and during the last 15 minutes of the session 2, 15 mark style questions will be set, students will plan their response to 1 and post to the forum  below. Students may then wish to engage in a study hall style discussion in the session 3 forum.

Recommended preparation: 
General revision of Paper 3 units from the resources above and your own notes
Revise perspectives on each, can you come prepared with 3-5 perspectives on German unification, Role of Bismarck, the causes of the First World War, relative significance of Western Front, War at Sea, Economic reasons for Allies success, perspectives on Germany's defeat and finally judgements on Versailles and the treaties wider impacts.
