This concept-driven study of global interactions has a broader perspective than a more conventional study of globalization. In particular, there is a focus on the complexity of the globalizing economic, social, cultural and political processes which are underway. Changes may be adopted, adapted or resisted by societies; the globalizing process is neither inevitable nor universal. The assessment is synthetic and requires learners to synthesize concepts and content selectively in order to arrive at a judgement.
