Exploring the events of the Twentieth Century
What: During this unit of study we will explore some of the significant events and developments of the Twentieth Century.
Why: We understand that increasing interconnectedness leading to growing inequities within an international system will lead to injustice and conflict. Growing global interconnectedness in trade, collective learning in technology and science create the conditions for the progress which would lead to what historians refer to as the 'Modern Age'.
How: This unit is all about student choice and personal interest. You will have the freedom to focus on an event or development of your choice and to extend and develop your independent research skills in preparation for High School.
