The Following extract on the Anglo-Norman Church comes from Britain The Birth of a Nation by Nicholas Vincent, take brief notes on those ideas that you think are useful for answering the summary questions at the end of Chapter 7 in your Heinemann textbook
The second extract comes from A. L. Poole's classic early medieval survey From Domesday Book to Magna Carta, whilst this book is a little more challenging, if you can be resilient and persevere, your understanding will be rewarded and will be far deeper for it.
For home learning over the Thanks giving break complete the around 1 hour of extra reading and answer the summary questions at the end of chapter 7.

How: Film you talking head documentary's and upload them to One-Drive and share with Mr Bish
I am sure you have had a rewarding two weeks with the activities you have completed and that you are a little tired as we head into the Thanksgiving Holiday. Today I'd like you to film the documentary from the script that you wrote, if you need to add anything to the script do so, but it is important that we have the documentary filmed by the end of the lesson, one of you should upload it to your One-Drive and share it with me so that I can upload it to the BishHoustonhumanities.net website.
If you'd like to be ambitious perhaps use a green screen software so you can add in medieval backgrounds, also if you ask nicely Mrs Morgan will let you access hats/head props to add authenticity. But do not spend all lesson dressing up!! The documentary MUST be uploaded by the end of the lesson...
If you finish early and for your home learning I would like you to pre-read Chapter 7 so that we can have a discussion on Monday on the ideas.
